They use tools, they build objects and a whole bunch of them is called a “murder.” Considered among the world’s most intelligent animals, crows give us much to contemplate and celebrate.
On May 18 at 7 p.m., Dr. John Marzluff will discuss this fascinating creature at a free public lecture “The Improbable Crow” at UCLA in West Los Angeles. Marzluff is an urban ornithologist at the University of Washington and he’s made amazing discoveries about the intelligence of corvids and their adaptability to city life as featured on a recent PBS’s Nature program.
Lecture takes place at the UCLA Faculty Center at 405 Hilgard Ave and parking is available by the hour in Lot 2 access Hilgard and Westholme. More info here.
